  • Who pays for expenses related to the assignment?

    In addition to a daily or hourly rate to cover the cost of  provider services and malpractice insurance, the facility where the contracted provider works will also be responsible for all associated travel and housing expenses, with prior approval, and if applicable.

  • Who will cover the medical malpractice?

    Locums, Inc.’s A+ rated claims made policy will provide coverage for all of our contracted providers that work in your facility

  • How much advance notice do you need to confirm a provider for your practice?

    The more time the better. Many of the providers who contract with Locums, Inc. book their schedules one month or more in advance. However, we are also able to handle last minute requests depending on the provider’s availability.

  • How much recruiting experience does your company have?

    Our staff has been recruiting providers since 1989.

  • Is there a requirement of time for a contract?

    No. Locums, Inc. helps many clients with an array of time frames, and coverage requests can be from one day to one week, two weeks, a month, a year or more.

  • In what states does Locums, Inc. provide services?

    We are a nationwide company operating in all 50 states.

  • How much does it cost per placement?

    The fees depend on the position and duration of the placement. For a full fee structure, please contact us.

  • Does it cost anything to register a vacancy?

    No, a placement fee is only charged once a candidate has been placed.  It is free for you to register your vacancy.

  • How can I get the most from Locums, Inc.?

    Communication is key. Use your consultant as your advisor. Be clear about what you are looking for and be realistic about the salary you will need to allocate. The market determines the salary (also dependent on location and duration of the job).
